Holton’s natural light oak tones make way for distinctive knots and natural swirling grain, creating a classic yet contemporary floor. These nature-grade European Oak planks are shadow sawn which involves creating saw marks at random intervals across the width of the board for a subtle reclaimed look.
We used 20mm nature-grade slow-grown European oak for this engineered extra-wide and extra-long length plank. Nature-grade oak includes a broad range of natural characteristics, such as knots, sap, and colour variation.
These planks have a hard wax oil finish, which is durable, natural, and unrivaled. It combines oils that deeply penetrate the wood’s pores with a hard wax that is polished to a deep patina. Holton is FSC certified so you can buy it knowing that it is sustainably sourced from well-managed forests. It can also be used with underfloor heating.
