Wide Douglas Fir floors are synonymous with a Scandi aesthetic, characterized by light sandy tones beautifully finished to highlight the wood’s natural wide grain.
Ted Todd has used North American nature-grade Douglas Fir to make Delamere, available in four widths including 260mm extra wide and 300mm super wide planks, all in super long lengths up to 3m.
Nature grade Douglas Fir has a broad range of natural characteristics, such as knots, sap, and colour variation. All Delamere planks are 20mm thick and are carefully sanded to achieve a smooth, sleek, uniform look.
Choosing unfinished wood means that you can decide which finish is most suitable for your project, with the finish applied in-situ after fitting. The floor care system required will depend in the finish you choose.
Delamere is not suitable for use as wall cladding but can be used with underfloor heating.
