English Pippy Burr Oak isn’t always easy to find, which is why there is often limited availability of this characterful wood. We’ve selected it for the distinctive small cat claw knots which define these 190mm wide honey-toned planks.
Winterfold is made using European nature grade Pippy burr oak plank, which has a broad range of natural characteristics such as knots, sap, and colour variation. The 15mm boards have been carefully sanded to achieve a smooth, sleek, uniform look.
You can buy Winterfold safe in the knowledge that it is FSC-certified and comes from sustainably managed forests.
Choosing unfinished wood means that you can decide which finish is most suitable for your project, with the finish applied in-situ after fitting. The floor care system required will depend in the finish you choose.
