Jacaranda Carpet's Rampur range is a textured twist carpet made from a blend of 60% viscose and 40% wool, available in 12 light colours (in 4m and 5m widths). This selection gives a wonderfully soft striped texture and is suitable for heavy use in domestic settings. With an approximate thickness of 12mm, a tog rating of 1.95 and a gross pile weight of 2200g/m2, this carpet is suited best to homeowners who appreciate a gentle shimmer.
Viscose is a natural fibre derived from wood pulp and contains cellulose. It is a non-static material and an excellent alternative to silk. Although Viscose has a shiny silk-like texture, it is very delicate as the cellulose fibre breaks down in the presence of water. Therefore it is important to ensure that it isn’t used in a high traffic flow area due to its delicate nature, or where there is a risk of staining through unfortunate spills. Viscose rugs are softer and more comfortable than most other fabrics, and have a natural lustre that adds a luxurious touch to any interior.
