Associated Weavers iSense Surprise is a premium, ultra-soft Saxony carpet crafted from unique polyamide yarn for an incredibly velvety feel underfoot. It combines deep-pile luxury with heavy-duty durability.
Polyamide (Nylon) was chosen for carpet fibres because it was believed to provide exceptional resistance to crushing and matting, heat and friction, and stain penetration. Aside from its superior physical characteristics, polyamide is attractive because its precursors are inexpensive. Polyamide is frequently used when high strength is required.
