Oster is a new addition to our Specialist Woods collection, introducing on-trend Siberian larch planks. Warm with a distinctive grain pattern, Siberian larch is known for its durability, so perfect for high-traffic areas.
Oster is 20mm thick and is carefully sanded to achieve a smooth, sleek, uniform look. These unfinished 190mm planks contain knots and have a fine uniform texture. Choosing unfinished wood means that you can decide which finish is most suitable for your project, with the finish applied in-situ after fitting. The floor care system required will depend on the finish you choose.
Oster is not suitable for use as wall cladding but can be used with underfloor heating.
Interesting fact, as well as flooring, Siberian Larch is also used in many velodromes around the world as the track surface including the Manchester Velodrome. The resin of Siberian larch is used as a natural chewing gum, which is commercially produced by several manufacturers in Russia
