This Saxony heavyweight is manufactured in the UK from 100% premium polyester yarn. With an impressive pile height of 18.5mm, its densely twisted fibres forms a robust cut pile, creating a thick, plush surface that mimics the elegance of velvet while standing up to heavy foot traffic.
Polyester is an excellent choice for rugs and carpets; soft, UV-resistant, and stain-resistant. Due to its difficulty absorbing liquids, it is hard to stain and also dries far quicker than other carpet materials, making it not only function well in areas with a lot of humidity but also much easier to clean. Additionally, polyester holds dye very well, meaning that it is colourfast and resistant to fading.
